A GOOD NIGHT FOR EVERYONE

Event Terms & Code of Conduct

Effective October 7, 2026

These terms apply to use of the event companion and participation in activities offered by El Jardín Paraíso and Bloodsparkgames. Events take place at different locations. The event listing, venue's admission requirements, ticket conditions, and staff instructions may provide additional rules for that particular event.

Eligibility and check-in

You must be at least 18 to check in or participate. By confirming the check-in statement, you declare that you meet this age requirement and agree to these terms. Venues may impose a higher minimum age or request identification. Admission to an 18+ event does not override venue rules or applicable alcohol and other laws.

Use your own guest session and an appropriate display name. Do not impersonate another attendee, share access tokens, or use someone else's account. Staff may correct participation records or remove access that is being misused.

Respectful participation

Game responses and moderation

By submitting a response, you authorize the organizers to use, moderate, and display that response as part of the event and its companion, including on attendee devices and projectors. This permission is for operating the event; it is not a blanket transfer of ownership or a promotional release.

Names, player numbers, answers, scores, and applicable voting results may be visible to the room. Staff may reject or remove responses, pause activities, correct scoring errors, or restrict participation for conduct or safety reasons. Staff approval of a game response is not an endorsement of the opinion expressed.

Optional activities and connections

You may decline a game, contestant role, conversation, or optional connection feature. Connection choices do not guarantee a match, a reply, compatibility, or another attendee's identity or intentions. Ask staff how any event-specific matching or contact-sharing process works before using it.

Tickets, schedules, and prizes

Ticket purchases, cancellation/refund arrangements, and venue services are governed by the terms communicated for that event or by the relevant ticket seller or venue. These general companion terms do not replace those arrangements or remove statutory rights.

Activities and timing may change for operational or safety reasons. If prizes are offered, the organizer must communicate eligibility, scoring or tie-break rules, award conditions, and any other applicable rules for that event. A displayed score alone does not establish a right to a prize.

Safety and support

The in-app safety tool is for contacting the event team; it is not an emergency service or a guarantee of an immediate response. In an emergency, contact local emergency services and seek venue staff or security. Tell a host promptly about unwanted conduct or an unsafe situation.

Support and privacy requests can be sent to kyle@bloodsparkgames.com. Avoid emailing information that is unnecessary to resolve your request.

Technology and participant responsibility

Use reasonable care while participating and follow the venue's rules. Internet access, device compatibility, synchronization, and game availability can be affected by technical problems. Report a problem to staff so they can assist or adjust an activity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular game outcome, or the conduct of other attendees.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are not a waiver of all responsibility for injury or misconduct. Applicable law and any valid event-specific agreements determine the parties' rights and responsibilities.

Privacy and updates

The Privacy Policy explains the companion's information practices. Optional marketing, promotional photography, or contact sharing should have separate, clearly explained permission when offered. Check-in is not consent to every future use of your information.

Updates will be dated on this page. Material changes to an event's conditions should be communicated to affected guests; an update does not retroactively create a photo release or permission for unrelated data use.
